Care and Feeding of Your Guitar Cover

Before we create every cover, the material and the muslin is washed, dried, and ironed.  We do not iron the cover after it is made, as it will only wrinkle again in the shipping process. Covers are created in a smoke-free environment.

Caring for your cover –

Our number one piece of advice is that you trim your strings and tuck the ends!  The Pellon insert is there to assist with keeping the sharp ends of the strings from poking through the lining and the cover fabric. If you don't trim the strings, they will poke through the fabric and detract from the cool factor of your cover!

Unless otherwise stated, covers are 100% cotton. You can wash your cover in cold water, no fabric softener, and tumble dry low.  Remove your cover promptly from the dryer to avoid wrinkling. Unless otherwise stated, covers are lined with 100% cotton muslin and there is a panel of Pellon at the top, at the headstock to minimize damage from strings.  You can iron your cover, right side out (unless otherwise stated), with a warm iron (not hot), no steam. Do not turn the cover inside out and iron the Pellon insert. It will melt!

The blue/red brocade skulls cover, and the faux shearling covers are a polyester blend.  They can be washed and dried, but ironing is NOT recommended as damage to the fibers can occur.

The black tooled vinyl, greige sueded, and tan faux leather covers can be spot cleaned with water. Washing and drying are not recommended, and ironing will melt the material.
